Fractured tibia rehabilitation
More about Mdm K, 18 months ago she fractured her tibia due to osteoporosis. She has refused operation and the doctors weren't too keen to, based on her age. In order to heal this, she was not allowed to put any weight on her leg for 6 months until the bone healed and was strong enough to take her weight. She came to Angsana and we worked on keeping her muscle mass from wasting, preventing other complications, and supporting her through this mentally challenging time. 12 months on, she is now back to full mobility independently. Good rehabilitation makes all the difference. This is what inspires me and my team at Angsana; the difference we can make.
